Lawson's Grandpa is so funny...he has the wittiest one liners...so I thought I would start to record them here so we will never forget them!Grandpa fell and broke his hip the other day. Lawson was talking to him on the phone and said, "Grandpa, you're not letting the nurses get out of hand are you?"

There is a very out-of-date calendar propped up on Grandpa's wall. It just so happens to be turned to a page with a risque picture of a woman on it. Lawson said, "Grandpa, that calendar's a little out of date isn't it?" To which Grandpa replied, "Some things never go out of date..."
We've been trying to get Grandpa to go to church...there is a sweet little Baptist church right down the road from him. Lawson said, "Grandpa, there's a church right down the road from you...ever think about going?"
To which Grandpa replied, "Thought about it..."

So we went to NY this past weekend for Lawson to run the NY Marathon (see post below!) and what do you know.......Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and daughter Suri were staying in our hotel! My mom and Bruce, who have an apartment in NY, rode in the elevator with Tom on the way up to see us! When we were on our way to a play, How the Grinch stole Christmas, Tom and Katie were on their way back from the marathon and I snapped a shot of them from behind (I couldn't get past the OTHER paparazzi in front of me!) Here is my feeble attempt at a shot of the Cruises.....I needed my long lens, but oh well...
